Water Holdup Tool (WHT)

The Water Holdup Tool (WHT) is an advanced downhole sensor designed to measure the percentage of water holdup during Production Logging Operations. The tool operates using a cylindrical capacitor in which the incoming fluid — a mixture of water, hydrocarbons, and gas — serves as the dielectric material. By determining the dielectric constant of the fluid, the WHT accurately calculates the water holdup percentage.

SPECIFICATIONS

The Water Holdup Tool (WHT) is an advanced downhole sensor designed for measuring the percentage of water holdup during Production Logging Operations. By using a cylindrical capacitor where the incoming fluid serves as the dielectric material, the WHT determines the dielectric constant of the fluid to accurately calculate water holdup percentage. It can be integrated into the ENG+RD Production Logging Tool, connected to the Fast Hybrid Telemetry Tool (FHT) for faster data transmission, and features a memory mode for offline data analysis.
